Trust in government is at an all-time low—just 19% say they trust government to do what is right most of the time/all of the time.
Americans don’t trust government because they don’t believe government is run for the benefit of everyone. Americans don’t trust government because they rightly believe it wastes their money. (Most Americans say government wastes 51 cents on the dollar.)
Turning the tide on waste, fraud and abuse. Turning the tide on corruption and cronyism. Turning the tide against unaffordable taxes and spending. This is the way we can restore trust, hope and optimism.
