Chick-Fil-A has a New Home in Lansing

Today, a new Chick-Fil-A opened in Lansing on Saginaw Street. The opening was a spectacle with people camping out overnight with the hopes of winning free Chick-Fil-A for a year.

Regardless of your political beliefs, the grand opening of a first of its kind in the Lansing area is something to be celebrated. The restaurant is another opportunity for students and other young professionals in the area to find a job while they attempt to navigate the job market.

The restaurant will also bring money into the surrounding Lansing area because it is now only one of three Chick-Fil-A’s in the state. For anyone who doesn’t live on the ‘East Side’ of the state, this location is your best bet for a delicious chicken sandwich and southern hospitality.

Let us know what you think. Are you excited for Chick-Fil-A finding a home in Lansing or do you think the restaurant is too controversial?
